Vision and Values
Long Melford Church of England Primary School is a warm, caring school, that is underpinned by a strong Christian ethos. We are one large family. All members of our school family are valued and respected.
Our school revised it's vision statement during the Spring Term 2019. Our Vision and Ethos are now based on Noah's Ark.
The school's vision is Include, Achieve and Care and is set within the story of Noah's Ark.
When we think of Noah's Ark we think of the Rainbow and God's everlasting Covenant. It reminds us to show friendship, to be wise, hopeful and to live well together with dignity and respect.

Our Vision Star shows that everything that we do ensures that our children are given the opportunities to flourish.
Around the edge are our Christian Values that underpin everything that we do: Perseverance, Respect, Compassion, Responsibility, Hope and Fairness.
The colours used in our Vision Star are the colours of the Rainbow, the everlasting covenant between God and all living things.
