School Dinner Menus

Our School Caterers are Aspens.  They send out regular menus for School Dinners.

Aspens Menu for Summer 2025

Allergy Free Menu: Summer 2025

School Dinner Menu for children with Food Allergies: Summer 2025

When we received the school dinner menu for next term from Aspens, we also received a new Summer Allergy Free Menu which will start after the Easter holiday.

ASPENS have a commitment in making sure every child is fed safely. They have been working on developing their response to Natasha's Law and as a result have issued an Allergy Free Menu.

The Allergy Free Menu is a menu that has been developed for all children who have a food allergy linked to one or more of the main 14 food allergens.

Children with nut allergies only, will still be able to be on the core menu even though nuts are in the main 14 food allergen list. This is because Aspens run nut free kitchens and none of the recipes or products contain nuts, so the menu is safe for those children.

If a child has an allergen outside of the main 14 food allergens, Aspens will need to request a bespoke menu to be made – parents start this process by completing the alternative menu request form (available from Mrs Brown in the school office) and providing medical evidence.

The options for each day are as stated on the menu only – children on this menu will not be able to have pasta with tomato sauce or the range of toppings currently offered on the jacket potatoes that are part of the core menu.

This menu has been sent out on paper to all children who Aspens say are eligible for it. If you think that your child might be eligible for the Allergy Free Menu, please see Mrs Brown.

Free School Meals for KS1 Children

There is currently no charge for school dinners for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.   This scheme is called Universal Free School Meals.
