Free School Meals for KS1 Children
There is currently no charge for school dinners for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 - although this may change after the General Election in May 2017. This scheme is called Universal Free School Meals.
Parents will remain free to choose whether their child has a school dinner or packed lunch from home.
