Welcome to the Summer Term!

For our last half term we will be exploring Summertime! Some of the things we will be doing include: exploring life-cycles of a frog and a butterfly, going on our theatre trip to see The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show! We will be finding out about hot and cold environments and exploring where they are on the globe. We will also be looking at seasons and times in the year when it gets hot and when it gets cold. We will be exploring the seaside and creating our own Fox Class beach! We will have a go at making ice-cream and explore, why is it so cold? We will be having our Sports Day and lots of transition mornings into our new class too.

In maths we will be doubling, halving and sharing, we also will be comparing distances and positions. In English we will continue to practise our writing and we will be finding out about 'split-digraphs'.
